چکیده

Liposomes are self-assembled This unique structure inherently provides liposome amphiphilic molecules or nanoparticles. Combining this pr transduction techniques results in a variety of in vitro or in vivo biological sensors. In this review article, we discuss the latest trends in engineering and applications of liposome based nanosensor coupling of liposomes with popular sensor materials (enzymes, quantum dots, metal nanoparticles and other sensor enhancement elements) for highly sensitive and selective detection of chemical and biological species. Such information will be viable in terms of providing a useful platform for designing future ultrasensitive liposome nanosensors.

Highly Sensitive Detection of H2S Molecules Using a TiO2-Supported Au Overlayer Based Nanosensors: A Van Der Waals Corrected DFT Study

The adsorption of the H2S molecule on the undoped and N-doped TiO2 anatase supported Au nanoparticles were studied using density functional theory calculations. The adsorption of H2S on both Au and TiO2 sides of the nanoparticle was examined. On the TiO2 side, the fivefold coordinated titanium site was found to be the most favorable binding site, giving rise to the strong interaction of H2S wit...

Multiplex detection of protease activity with quantum dot nanosensors prepared by intein-mediated specific bioconjugation.

We report here a protease sensing nanoplatform based on semiconductor nanocrystals or quantum dots (QDs) and bioluminescence resonance energy transfer (QD-BRET) to detect the protease activity in complex biological samples. These nanosensors consist of bioluminescent proteins as the BRET donor, quantum dots as the BRET acceptor, and protease substrates sandwiched between the two as a sensing gr...

L- and D-cysteine functionalized CdS quantum dots as nanosensors for detection of L-morphine and D-methamphetamine

A new method in differentiation of chiral molecules is reported based on the fluorescence quenching of functionalized CdS quantum dots (CdS-QDs) as nanosensor by differing in the chirality of functionalization species. The chemically functionalized CdS-QDs with strong yellow emission were prepared using chiral L-cysteine (L-Cyst) and D-cysteine (D-Cyst) molecules. Then, the functionalized CdS-Q...

Carbon Nanodots as Dual-Mode Nanosensors for Selective Detection of Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is an important product of oxidase-based enzymatic reactions, such as glucose/glucose oxidase (GOD) reaction. Therefore, the probing of generated H2O2 for achieving the detection of various carbohydrates and their oxidases is very significative. Herein, we report one kind of dual-emission carbon nanodots (CDs) that can serve as novel dual-mode nanosensors with both fluo...

Graphene-based wireless bacteria detection on tooth enamel.

Direct interfacing of nanosensors onto biomaterials could impact health quality monitoring and adaptive threat detection. Graphene is capable of highly sensitive analyte detection due to its nanoscale nature. Here we show that graphene can be printed onto water-soluble silk. This in turn permits intimate biotransfer of graphene nanosensors onto biomaterials, including tooth enamel. The result i...
